celebrating what is left

oh wise child
hot sweet coffee
sunlight glinting through your teeth
bouncing, splashing off your tongue

jiggle
wiggle
piggle and poke
wrapped up tight
in apron and cinnamon bun

blossoming, gorgeous
opening towards the day
pregnant
swollen
filled with promise

tell me

oh tame one
Laka-Shiva-Rata-Sheba
what does your name mean?
