by JoAnn Yukimura on 10 February 2008Aloha all,
If you'd like to see our ag lands used for their intended purpose - agriculture - please let County Council members know why it's important to pass the following two bills so we can grow food and not houses on agriculturally designated lands.
Mahalo!
From County Council member JoAnn Yukimura:
Aloha, Everyone
Sorry for the late notice.
The County Council is holding a public hearing on the Ag Moratorium Bill (a proposal to suspend processing of an application for subdivision of ag lands while an ag planning process is occurring) and the appropriation bill for $500,000 for an Ag-Rural lands study this Wednesday, February 13, at 1:00pm in the Council Chambers, Historic County Building. The bills are attached here.
Please come and testify if you can. Or, you can email or fax testimony to cokcouncil@kauai.gov or 241-6349 respectively.
If you have any questions, please email me and copy jitmatura@kauai.gov.
