Motivational and informational presentations providing examples of successful programs with Zero Waste / Max 3R goals. Overviews of public education and promotion, residential and commercial collection systems, materials processing, markets
R W Beck Recommendations for 3Rs on Kauai
(7:30pm - 8:00pm)
A presentation of the R W Beck / SWAC recommendations for 3Rs on Kauai but without discussing the WTE aspects of the recomedations. (Pending confirmation)
The Potential for Max 3R on Kauai
(8:00pm - 8:30pm)
A motivational and informational presentation explaining what Max 3R might include on Kauai, esp highlighting positive recommendations from the Beck report and using those recommendations as a springboard to recommend even more
