Early Spring in Panama Juan Wilson © 2000 The Gobbler: Spring Bud These images were taken as part of a series documenting the weather from an upstairts window of my house in Panama, New York. An old black and white CCTV camera (like a security camera) was hooked up to a 1987 vintage Amiga 2000 Computer. A single image was scanned into the computer every day for about six months. There was snow a few times in the first half of Spring in 1997. It began with a few patches on the ground and then got sunny. Before April Fool's Day there with another white blanket. In the second week of April there was quite a storm. By the beginning of May the buds in the trees were making it less easy to see sky between the branches. Home |
