Solar PV on Kaua’I – Electricity from Sunlight!Are you interested in the possibility of producing your own electricity instead of continuing to pay the ever-increasing costs on Kaua’i?

Have you wished to do something personally to reduce your contribution to global warming?

Would you like to make an investment in your future?

Apollo Kaua’I, a non-profit environmental group assisting Kaua’I to use more clean, renewable and sustainable sources of energy, is inviting everyone to an Introduction to the basics of Solar Photovoltaic(PV) systems for your home or business; and a panel discussion with industry experts, of the options and difficulties facing KIUC in utilizing more solar PV on Kaua’i.

Following the introduction, there will be a panel discussion featuring Rick Gilliam, Managing Director Western States Policy for SunEdison, Douglas Bath of Pro Vision on Oahu, Charlie Cowden, solar PV installer on Kaua’I, and Steve Rymsha of KIUC. Audience participation will be encouraged.

We will discuss challenges and possible solutions for utilizing more solar PV.
